Member Engagement Coordinator - Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom,

Oxfordshire Youth has been awarded a four year Big Lottery Reaching Communities grant for a new project, Sustainable Communities, from 2016 - 2020. Sustainable Communities will support youth organisations to provide good quality youth provision for young people. The project will work intensively in communities across Oxfordshire to establish and sustain youth provision in areas where it is currently lacking or where existing groups are under threat. The role will provide ongoing support to a range of youth organisations and groups through the development of Oxfordshire Youth's Membership Programme, delivery of high quality training and events and ensuring the quality of youth provision through external recognition. This important role is part of Oxfordshire Youth's core offer and will be working in a team of four providing meaningful membership support. The position involves both office based and face-to-face work with staff, volunteers and young people. This role would best suit an individual with solid experience and background in working with young people and who has a good understanding of the needs of the voluntary sector and how this translates to youth group settings. Regular evening and weekend working is required.
