We need a self-motivated individual to play a key role in driving Cancer Research UK's Volunteer Fundraising business development activity. They will lead a team that will develop and deliver the business development strategy to support the recruitment of new audiences and grow our existing portfolio of supporters. You will be able to work in agile way, testing and learning quickly to develop new initiatives and understand the potential and opportunities these will bring. This approach will enable the department to achieve the in-year and 5 year income ambition. You can help us beat cancer sooner through your...Excellent business development and project management experience in the charity community sector.Proven track record of managing a high performing team.Ability to develop, manage and empower team members and supporters to meet the needs of the charityProactive, strategic thinker who applies creative thinking to develop opportunities and take risks appropriately.Proven aptitude for managing challenging situations and adapting your style where appropriate.Experience of identifying opportunities and strategically developing them into tested and proven concepts with future potential income growth. Evidence of leading multiple projects and cross organisational working.
