Change Management and Project Managers - Mining - Africa - Central London

€500-€1000 a day depending on role

Our client is a major consulting firm working in the mining sector in Africa. They have an immediate project requirement in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 3 Change Consultants and a Project Manager   

Project Manager – must be fluent French and English. Have a degree and run projects successfully. Experience in change management a must – mining experience would be a plus.
 

Team member 1 & 2 – fluent French and able to communicate in English. Change management or mining experience a plus. Must be smart young people with a university degree and excellent communication skills. They will preferably have managed people in previous role.

 

Areas of work will be in organisational design and operational areas. Organisational will be looking at appropriate structures for requirements and helping to ensure appropriate role holders based on client feedback.

Operational areas include mine planning, mining, crushing & screening, heap leaching, electro winning.

Other areas will include maintenance, dewatering, infrastructure, supply and admin. We will also be looking at social license to operate and activities to support this.

 

Site accommodation is provided .

Rotation would be 4 weeks on (6 day weeks but the last is a 7 day week) and say 2 weeks off.

 

Initial assignment is 4 week review. Expect short term support to come out of review of 6 to 12 month support keeping our original 3 team members or alternatives as we determine.
