2422 - Brand Director - E Berks - Perm or Contract - £95-£100K basic + 20% bonus, £7K car allowance, pension healthcare etc.

This is a key Board level role reporting to the VP of Global Marketing .

The Director Brand is responsible for the brand and creative strategy of this well established B2B tech company, ensuring the brand is effectively managed and developed to enable the business to grow.

Also responsible for driving events (Customer & Internal events, Hospitality, Trade show, Industry and Sponsorship), ensuring a Group level strategy is developed, implemented and managed for both internal and external customers.

Assume responsibility for balancing commercial aims and managing costs and budgets, in order to maximize investment efficiencies and ROI of marketing spend

In addition, responsibility for leading an in-house creative and content development team made up of design, copywriting and content marketing professionals.

Main Accountabilities:

Develop and manage Brand

Tasked with making a strong, differentiated brand to customers, investors and partners

Define brand strategy and communication plan is consistent with clients strategy and vision.

Provide consultancy and develop guidelines to ensure a consistent communication of the brand

Create global marketing materials, programs and campaigns designed to elevate brand awareness and positioning for the brand.

Own the company's corporate marketing services corporate collateral, executive presentations, registered trademarks, identity architecture, graphic design, naming architecture etc

Lead an internal team of 5 creative and content marketing professionals to deliver content marketing services

Develop and drive the strategy for global events (internal, external, trade & industry), sponsorship, hospitality and communication planning across regions ensuring a group level strategy is developed, implemented and managed for both customers and employees.

Manage the creative strategy and development process from beginning to end (e.g. authoring creative input briefs, managing the creative agency, working with internal business partners and legal/compliance, and managing production).

Select, negotiate and contract third-party agencies and suppliers

Develop and communicate written briefs for use by agencies and suppliers

Create a consistent and compelling way to showcase the product portfolio both externally and internally

Manage third party agencies

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education:

Strong track record in B2B brand strategy and brand management / brand marketing, preferably from a B2B tech company.

Experience of a global company environment in the marketing area.

Experience in strategic planning and execution.

Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal

Ability to work with all levels in the organization, confident and comfortable interacting with senior and executive management to communicate strategy and results.

Demonstrable experience in an environment of multiple priority pressure aligned with a track record of delivering results

Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills - clear ability to work in a matrix organization and build strong working relationships

Proven leadership and management skills, ability to motivate teams to produce quality within tight deadlines

Experience with Agile technics and tools like Kanban a distinct advantage
