Your New Role
Your exciting new role as the Campus Engagement Events Lead will have you leading the Cambridge Sports and Social Club, Charity and Volunteer programme. You will be delivering the engagement, collaboration and culture programme to drive a sense of belonging across the Cambridge community.
You will find yourself delivering the campus leadership team engagement programme, whilst developing and managing the execution of project plans - these include activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality to ensure tracking of the project. You will be responsible for partnering with the communications team to create and socialise their identity, alongside this, you will be responsible for marketing and promotional material.
Other roles include maintaining and developing client relationships, managing supplier relationships, and delivering events on time within a budget.
What You'll Need to Succeed
For you to succeed in this role, you will need exposure to project/events management. You will need to be proactive and consistently striving for continuous improvement. Strong communication skills are a must for this role, this includes both written and verbal.
The Campus Engagement Events Lead role will require you to have both time and relationship management skills, you will need to be delivering multiple projects simultaneously, whilst maintaining internal and external supplier relationships.
