Royal Mail PFS are looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager (maternity cover Fixed Term Contract).

About the role

You'll be responsible for the operational delivery of multiple communications channels across the business, including the creation and distribution of key internal communication channels such as the company magazine, Intranet News Section, core cascade and ad-hoc communications.

Your key focus is ensuring effective communication, with employees at all levels, using the full range of communications channels as appropriate to the audience and the message, whilst guaranteeing that messages are developed and accessible to all employees and clearly and consistently communicated.

In addition, you'll support the Senior Leadership Team within PFS, building relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring that key communications requirements are captured and cascaded.

You'll be responsible for project communications/change communications including creating, distributing and analysing key internal communication channels and activities, such as writing content. You'll work with internal customers to deliver key messages ensuring that the communications calendar of events is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner whilst to budget.

The role is a Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months.

About you

Degree educated (or equivalent) you'll have a strong background within communications, possessing a high level of oral and written skills, with experience of working in a complex and varied business.

Your proven track record of creating and distributing key business messages and understanding of digital technologies, used in internal communications, will be key to your successful in the role.

With significant stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to successfully engage employees and influence the outcome at all levels in the organisation, you'll utilise your detailed commercial understanding to analyse complex information and grasp the issues.

Through a consultative approach, which supports others to build their competence in communications and adopt the right communications approach, you'll show your experience of cross functional working and working with colleagues to achieve results.

Change communications and project management skills are required alongside occasional so a full UK driving licence is desirable.
