About the role

With year-end rapidly approaching, an opportunity has arisen in our Order Fulfilment team to help the business meet the demands of our major customers. Initially on a 6 month fixed term contract, the role's primary responsibility is to interact with internal and external sales, demand planning, inventory and supply planning teams to create accurate demand plans supporting multiple channels in which Ideal Standard (UK) Ltd trade. Working closely with key direct trading customers to align inventory and availability in conjunction with sales pipeline intelligence and facilitate accurate stock to service the end consumer.

What you'll do

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer supply chain partners

· Develop supply chain strategies / ways of working to ensure excellent customer service, market availability and OTIF in line with agreed service propositions

· Support Trade, Residential and Non Residential teams to achieve sales line through ranged inventory review and sharing of market / project intelligence in order to ensure the correct stock is ranged and maintained within merchant DC's

· Work closely with customers in regard to inventory management, forecasting, forecast accuracy and supply planning

· Work cross functionally with departments such as Sales teams, Forecasting, Distribution and Supply Chain to ensure smooth, end to end supply planning

· Create reporting and analysis to provide insight into customer plans, trends etc. which impact our operational and commercial business

What you'll need:

· Experience of working within a demanding supply chain environment, having a proven track record of success within a diverse operation with multiple product lines

· Understanding and capability of end to end supply chain

· Driven, customer-focused mind set. Experience in customer facing role advantageous

· Ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships to support the overall business strategy

· Excellent communication skills (including verbal and written)

· Highly organised, the ability to prioritise and take ownership of work, a completer-finisher

· Motivational team player bringing energy and enthusiasm to the team

· Knowledge of the Sales Tender Process advantageous

· Strong IT and planning skills

· CRM / SAP/ Sales force
