Working as part of the central Organisational Development (OD) team this role will focus on designing and implementing a range of initiatives across the Digital and Security (DaS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). DaS is engaging with a significant transformation programme and it is a full agenda. The transformation focuses on the delivery of trusted and secure digital solutions and working collaboratively with all our public sector partners and customers.
Working within the DaS function in NSS you will support and enable their continued development and growth through the delivery of people and organisational development initiatives. We are looking for an experienced and credible Development professional who can make a difference and support DaS on its transformation journey - there is a lot going on.
You will focus on a broad range of organisational development interventions within organisational change, cultural change, leadership and management and learning and development. You will:
Provide expertise, leadership and advice on tools and techniques to enhance organisational effectiveness through cultural change, building on organisational capability and capacity through our people.
Design, develop and deliver the organisational , learning and development requirements across the Digital transformation programme;
Develop and deliver in collaboration with the business the DaS skills and transition development plan, based on current skills mix and future technical skills requirements, ensuring there is the right technical capability to deliver the DaS strategy and roadmap;
Develop DaS 's organisational capability to lead through change;
Embed succession planning and development;
Build strong working relationships with training providers and 3rd party suppliers;
Drive a learning and coaching culture across the DaS business;
Deliver, in collaboration with the Corporate NSS Learning and Organisational Development teams ;
Build and develop effective and successful relationships across a range of colleagues and key stakeholders.
The right individual will have proven experience across the full learning & development spectrum and CIPD qualified or equivalent. You'll have experience of how to partner and understand business priorities and align these to organisational and learning development solutions. You will have previous experience in the Digital space, and have worked in a fast paced, matrix organisation. You'll be highly motivated with the ability to use your expertise to challenge and provide options and solutions. You'll have great communication and interpersonal skills and find it easy to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels in a diverse and transforming business.
You will be comfortable working in a relatively stand alone capacity whilst working as part of and contributing to the wider corporate Organisational, Learning & Development and HR function. You'll need to be IT literate and comfortable working with various internal systems including our Learning Management System.
