Our client is seeking an experienced finance business partner to join the team in a key role with a change programme as research & development functions move into a new purpose built site. This role has three main responsibilities throughout the project:
Offering finance support for the Cambridge Transition Programme including: Generating the 3-year restructuring cost plan, support for workstream leads while exercising cost control, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, risk and opportunity tracking, business case development for investment plans & formalising processes whilst establishing the framework to ensure clear governance.
Supporting Finance teams by handling downstream impacts of the Transition Programme, modelling site operating costs & integrating planning between the programmes with business as usual operations to ensure all costs factors are understood and accounted for.
You will also oversee and control R&D Restructuring spend which will involve liaison with the R&D Finance Team to provide a consolidated view of restructuring spend across all R&D restructuring programmes as well as providing commentary on the status of programmes, variance to budgets/long range plans, reasons for movement in forecasts and management of risks & opportunities.
What we're looking for:
·Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
·Demonstrated business partnering experience including high level of stakeholder management
·Previous experience within a change programme is essential
