South Yorkshire based, our client is an expert in their field, with a turnover in excess of £60m and employing over 500 staff in the UK.
They have a reputation for quality and delivery in the highly regulated industry they operate within.
Head of Operations - Duties & Responsibilities:
*Interim lead to the site operations teams to deliver results in terms of safety first, quality and on time delivery
*Encourage a culture of continuous improvement across sites, with clear objectives outlined and delivered
*Ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved by delivering on OTIF and quality standards
*Oversee operations budgets, performance improvements and cost reduction targets
*Collaborate and contribute to strategic objectives for the business
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
*Extensive site leadership experience in a fast moving, high volume manufacturing environment
*Adept with modern manufacturing tools and practices
*Demonstrable experience in the development of engineering and production teams in a high-volume business, managing 300+ employees
*Ability to engage others and bring them on board with the wider business vision
*Conversant with HR and the benefits of strong internal relationships
*Self-starter in pursuing the objectives set for the Manufacturing Unit
