HR Business Partner - Maternity Contract - Stockport, Cheshire, United Kingdom,

Our Client based close to Stockport are looking to find an experienced, proactive and forward thinking HR Business Partner with CIPD. The role is a 12 month maternity contract starting in the new year, paying £32,000pa, and offers great benefits and generous holidays. The position will involve managing all aspects of HR, and will be instrumental in the strategic planning of the company. The perfect candidate will have experience working within an experienced HR department and will be happy to work in a tight knit HR Team.

About The Role:

· Support the HR Team in policy development in line with business need and legislative changes
· Support the HR Team in the design and delivery of HR & Payroll Processes including roll out and training and continuous review of employee Induction Programme
· Supporting the Head of HR, OD & Communications with strategic HR planning to identify gaps, propose and implement changes and limit risks to the business
· Regular review of KPIs and recommendations to the Head of HR, OD & Communications and Identifying training
· Challenge the organisational structure and proposes changes to the Head of HR, OD & Communications
· Manage ER/IR issues across the business - acting as Employee Relations specialist within the HR team taking lead/supporting HRBP on high risk cases
· Build relationships with recognised Trade Unions and assist recruitment, re structures , change programme and consultation process
· Delivering on complex HR Projects cross-functionally
· Deliver training activities to Mangers across the business areas and ensure wide spread understanding across the workforce
· Build strong business relationships with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
· Partner with the heads of service to deliver the full spectrum of HR tasks
· Champion Equality and Diversity across the business, partnering with all stakeholders to ensure Company standards are maintained and are continuously developed
· Champion the Company Values and Code of Conduct and ensure understanding and consistency across the business
· Constantly strive to Identify and implement cost reductions
· Working with Head of HR, OD & Communications in relations to identify culture change
· Operating within stringent financial constraints in a competitive and commercial environment.
· Stimulate and manage change effectively in the drive for continuous improvement
· Aligning strategy with the Head of HR, OD & Communications to developing, refine and review policies and
· Keep up to date and minimise the impact of changing legislation

Essential Skills & Experience
· Developing and implementing policies and procedures
· Supporting in strategic HR planning
· Manage all employee and internal relations across the business being the employee relations specialist within the team
· Delivering complex HR projects across the company
· Ensuring training is delivered to managers across the business
· Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

· Salary: £32,000.00
· Hours are Mon to Fri, 9am to 4pm or 8am to 4pm (flexible) 12 month maternity contract
