HR Business Partner

Contract Type: 12 months Fixed Term

Salary / Benefits: £40,000

Job Elements: -

  • Participate in the creation and delivery of the HR Strategy

  • To partner with customers to deliver a HR service in line with their needs and the companies priorities

  • To implement and deliver key HR initiatives

  • Be the main interface between HR and the business relating to business outputs/projects

  • Translate business requirements into effective HR practices and provide advice to Senior and Line Managers on the interpretation and implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Influence Management around the people agenda and issues

  • Support case management activities including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievances and performance issues

  • Ensure that performance reviews are undertaken and assess quality of objectives

  • Undertake Succession Planning Activities with customers

  • Build and maintain an effective relationship with trade union representatives to assist management to achieve business objectives

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures and fit for purpose and reflective of current employment legislation

  • Provide expertise in recruitment and reward (both internally and externally) and exit of staff

  • Maintain employee records to ensure an accurate and comprehensive employee database for information and planning purposes

  • Experience of working in an operational HR environment

  • Experience of implementing current employment legislation, HR best practice, Policies & Procedures

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience of using SAP HR or a similar HR system
