Responsible for: HR Manager and HR Assistant

Role: To provide an operational Human Resources service to the senior management team to help improve performance and culture. This includes the implementation of the new HR and payroll system and reviewing workforce policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote positive work relations with union representatives and lead on the union consultation
  • Review and updater workforce policies and procedures in consultation with unionised representatives
  • Lead change management imitative, including collective and individual consultations

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:

  • Leadership and line Management experience, of a HR team, through coaching mentoring and developing performance.
  • CIPD qualified - level 7 essential
  • First class Degree or equivalent experience that demonstrates HR knowledge's and skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of working in partnership trade unions representatives
  • Experience of establishing and enhancing HR services, systems and processes
  • Experience of leading change
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationship's quickly
