Head of Learning & Development FTC 9-12mths - City, London, United Kingdom,
a fantastic company in the digital telecomms industry is looking for a Head of Learning & Development to to provide Maternity cover for a period of 9-12 months possibly longer. Reporting to the HR Director, this strategic role will manage four direct reports within L&D and Internal Comms.
You will be responsible for for the design and delivery of the organisation's global L&D strategy, providing innovative and up to date solutions for learning interventions through technology and other methods. You will develop and leverage relationships with all levels in the business, including senior leadership to obtain buy-in and direction for key learning and development initiatives and priorities, co-designing and executing programmes that target and address specific development needs of the organisation based on a variety on inputs. This is a very visible role within the business, so confidence and a high level of stakeholder and employee engagement experience is important. You will have the opportunity to organise an internal global leadership forum early next year so previous experience in this area is key.
You will also be responsible for managing Internal Communications, managing and delivering the strategy in line with business requirements work closely with Head of PR and Head of Brand to ensure internal comms are in line with external comms and the company brand.
You will be involved in reviewing and implementing a new learning system so experience of this is needed too. Experience of Workday would be an advantage but is not key.
