IT Procurement Manager


£450/day (in-scope)

6 Months

Working as part of the Commercial Team and reporting to the Principal Procurement Manager, the Procurement Manager will provide professional and effective procurement and commercial support to the Business, with a particular focus on the ICT category. The Principal Procurement Manager reports into the Head of Commercial who is part of the Finance and Facilities Management Team sitting within the Corporate Services group.

Your background:

  • Demonstrable public and/or private sector experience across a broad indirect commodity portfolio, with a focus on ICT

  • Demonstrable recent experience of Public Contract Regulations and OJEU procedures

  • Demonstrable experience of leading and managing procurement projects

  • Successful development of strategic sourcing strategies

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver to deadlines

  • Ability to engage effectively at all levels within the Business and across specialisms

  • Proven contract and risk management skills

  • Proven procurement skills in securing savings

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a capability to effectively influence outcomes

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills

  • Qualified or Part Qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS)
