Due to maternity, our client, an internationally recognised brand in it's field, is actively seeking to recruit a Junior HR Business Partner to cover maternity for 12 / 13 months FTC.

This job has two component parts; HR Business Partner for defined business areas and HR Adviser.

As HRBP, works closely with defined business areas to support Senior Leaders and their teams to shape and support people requirements to deliver the business strategy and the mid-term plan.

As HR Adviser, supervises the HR support function. HR support is engaged in the full employment lifecycle including; creating employment contracts, delivering inductions, processing compensation and benefit changes, administering a number of HR schemes and providing general policy advice, As an individual contributor, as HR Adviser, responsible for advising managers on policies, procedures and activities, manages the collation and reporting of metrics Corporate, coordinating the performance management process and managing a number of ER cases.

As HR BP

• Lead the people plans for a headcount of circa 26 across defined business areas

• Partner the functional areas to ensure accuracy of the headcount forecasts and payroll costs for the period

• Compliance with all HR processes and legal requirements (absence, disciplinary)

• People plans delivered in line with Corporate Strategy

• Projects deployed on time and desired outcomes achieved

• Minimal employee relations issues

As HR Adviser

• Manage 1 x HR Co-ordinator

• Site based looking after approx. 500 employees

• Accurate HR and employee records

• Reporting deadlines

Candidate skills & requirements

• CIPD qualified

• Generalist HR experience including coaching, relationship management, communications, absence, capability, conduct, L&D, and resourcing across all levels of the organisation

• Experience of working with business leaders and able to establish personal credibility

• Working knowledge of current UK employment legislation and employee relations

• Experience of change programmes and proven track record of delivering HR projects

• Results orientated

• High energy and naturally collaborative approach

• Adept at problem solving, with an ability to persuade and influence at all levels

• Passion for continuous improvement (organisation and self)

• Flexible, responsive and highly customer focused

• Emotionally resilient and able to plan and deliver at pace

• Effective prioritisation of workload to meet stretching deadlines and able to demonstrate confidentiality, tact and diplomacy

• Comfortable in a fast paced global environment

• Good attention to detail

• PC literate and experience of working with databases

• Experience of managing people, including developing, motivating and assigning work to others.
