Operational & Social Researcher (Performance Measures), Central Government, London, 6 months, £450 Per Day LTD

Your new company
Operational & Social Researcher (Performance Measures), Central Government, London, 6 months, £450 Per Day LTD

Your new role
Your new role will sit within the Change Directorate of this Central Government organisation. The role will be creating the Enterprise Performance Framework which is being implemented to change the way performance is measured. Your role will be to design measures the organisation can use rather than purely providing insights from the data. Responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to work with data to identify how measures should be defined - including modelling data to understand the impact of different approaches to measuring an outcome
  • Working with stakeholders to understand how a measure could be used in organisations (and what behaviour this could drive) - so experience of running workshops, working with operations etc.
  • Using insight and analysis to understand how we define measures that support our organisational objectives - so for example applying data to drive action in an organisation
  • Ability to work in a cross disciplinary team to deliver metrics and measures
  • Experience of using data to analyse performance (not just digital but operational, customer facing performance to understand how you can improve)

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have a proven track record in identifying suitable user-focused, organisational-level metrics that drive performance (for example measures that deliver good outcomes rather than process steps) and know how these could be aggregated across services. You will have senior stakeholder engagement experience and be not only able to understand and process data but deliver it to senior management.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive between £400 - £450 per day via LTD company. You will be able to enhance your already significant research experience.
