- Manage a complex diary
- Arrange meetings and appointments
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Project planning and providing secretarial functions at events and meetings inc minute taking, preparing and distributing meeting documents
- Managing emails
- Telephone handling
- Switchboard operating
- Liaising with senior stakeholders
- Maintaining and building relationships internally as well as externally
- Complete tasks set by managers and meeting deadlines whilst managing workload
- Providing support and cover for the team
- Adhoc duties
- Business management support
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an individual who has substantial experience in proving PA support to executive level personnel. You will need to be a confident communicator both written and verbally. You will need to be an experienced admin who has proven ability of completing administrative duties to a high quality and within a timely manner. You will need to have a proven track record of planning, preparing and coordinating events, meetings and workshops whilst demonstrating experience within minute taking and action logs. You must be able to use your own initiative to independently manage workload and meeting deadlines set by superiors. You will need to be IT literate and proficient on Microsoft packages and Visio. You need to be an individual who promotes positive relationships both internally and externally, demonstrating your commitment and professionalism. You need to be an individual who accepts change and tries to find beneficial solutions moving forward. You will need to be trustworthy, reliable and honest, acting impartially and in the best interests of the public.
