Procurement Specialist job in Mansfield for expanding public sector procurement department
Your new company:
An ever developing and expanding public organisation which provides a comprehensive, business focused procurement and commercial service.
Your new role:
This is an exciting and challenging role in a busy procurement department, working with Corporate Services on procurement projects to include ICT, professional services, HR, FM and marketing.
You will be working closely with the business in the delivery of procurement projects. You will be part of a team supporting the business in delivering its statutory duties and commercial services and also responsible for aligning the procurement strategy to a 5 Year Plan.
In addition you will gather information to design commercial contracts and develop the supplier relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
The organisation is looking for a forward thinking and self-motivated individual with experience of procurement and supplier management. The role would ideally suit somebody from either a commercial or public sector background with experience of driving change, and delivering at pace." Experience in Professional Services or IT procurement would be an advantage.
