Temporary job for a Programme / Project Manager based in Cardiff

You will be working for a reputable public sector organisation based in Central Cardiff.
Your new role
You will work alongside the Programme Director, managing programme development, planning, implementation and taking forward vision goals. You will be responsible for managing plans, systems and structures to support the delivery of highly complex programmes and projects, ensuring that all work carried out is of high standard. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to progress, assessment and evaluation of plans. You will be responsible for day to day basis for decisions and processes relating to the programme management and work plan delivery. You will be responsible for undertaking any other general duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent experience of working in a similar role. You will possess PRINCE2 or MSP or equivalent level of experience. You will have proven experience in successfully leading and implementing projects/programmes at a national level. You will have previous experience of managing budgets, working with suppliers and successfully implementing project driven change management. You will possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Be highly organised with great attention to detail. You will possess the ability to effectively organise, plan and prioritise work in order to meet deadlines.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid £16.98 per hour and work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. This is a temporary assignment until March 2020.
