Ibstock plc is a market leading manufacturer and partner of choice for innovative clay and concrete building products, building the face of Britain for over 200 years.
We're no ordinary manufacturing business. Through our principal products of clay bricks, brick components, concrete roof tiles, concrete stone masonry substitutes, concrete fencing, pre-stressed concrete products and concrete rail products, we're committed to providing new solutions to today's social and environmental challenges for the new build housing and domestic repair, maintenance, improvement markets (RMI) and infrastructure.
Many of our long-standing customer relationships have lasted over 40 years. Our customer focus is based on quality, service and consistency and our service-led ethos is one of the key drivers in the growth of our market share over the past 10 years.
Our HR team's role is changing so this is a fantastic time to join the team and make your mark, adding real value to the organisation.
We have recognised the need to have our own internal resourcing team to work with our hiring managers to manage all of our internal and external recruitment. So we are building a new team of resourcing and recruitment professionals.
Our strategy will be to source all of our candidates directly using online and social media channels, building our brand in the employment market and maintaining pipelines of candidates for those roles that we have significant growth in. We will partner with our hiring managers and guide them through the recruitment process, giving them the very best candidates available, and ensuring that our candidates have the best experience that we can offer.
To help us achieve this goal, we need Resourcing Business Partners to work with our hiring managers and help them to source the right candidates for the role. It is likely that this will be for an initial fixed term of 12 months, with the opportunity for this to be extended or even become permanent.
This is a regional role and will cover the North/South of the UK so an element of travel will be required, as will some nights away from home. You will also need to spend some of your time at our head office in Leicestershire.
You will have significant experience of working with hiring managers, either as an internal business partner or as an external service provider, such as a Recruitment Agency.
We would expect you to be skilled in a variety of assessment methodologies, including competency based interviewing, possibly having experience of training others. You will understand the importance of proper process and managing expectations, both with hiring manager and your candidates, experience in Heavy manufacturing could be an advantage although not a necessity.
In return you will have the opportunity to join us at the start of our journey, with the chance to create an industry leading recruitment function, in a company that has big ambitions, you will receive a competitive salary (dependent on experience) and a package of benefits commensurate with the role.

Closing date for applications - 4th November 2019
Interviews will be taking place during week commencing 18th November 2019
