Description

  • Reporting to the Head of Comms, you will work alongside the Senior Comms Executive to implement the PR strategy for the business (both campaign work and business as usual), working closely with our PR agency
  • Play a key role in running a robust and reactive press office-you'll have no problem in making sure quality pieces of coverage are delivered as a result
  • Use your natural people skills to build relationships on behalf of Brooks Macdonald with key media and internal relationships to foster collaboration
  • Get creative by brainstorming with the team and developing new campaign ideas
  • Overseeing the writing of press releases/other press material copy as required
  • Play a key role in reporting PR success back to the business
  • Work closely with our media spokespeople to manage their time and ensure they are receiving relevant opportunities

Profile

  • roven experience as public relations executive or similar role
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels
  • Solid knowledge of social media (blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with financial trade press

Job Offer

£35-40,000

6 month contract
