This post will be responsible for providing overall management and direction to the DFID funded UK Aid Connect, Evidence and Collaboration for Inclusive Development (ECID) programme, with a specific focus on overall Consortium Management and Strategic Direction. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new partners - both traditional and non-traditional - the post holder will implement and develop an innovative programme, delivering digital evidence to drive change for marginalised and excluded groups in Myanmar, Zimbabwe and Nigeria. This will be carried out through a diverse, international, consortium, and as such coordination and harmonisation of activities across geographies and partners, using adaptive management principals and active management of budgets and resources will be key outcomes of the role. The Senior Programme manager will also act as the first point of contact with DFID and other UKAC consortia globally while ensuring all learning objectives are met and in line with DFID and Christian Aid's global aspirations.
You will be a senior manager having wide international experience gained through several years managing programmes in the global south and with a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes at a global level. With skills in consortia leadership and management, you'll also have a background of operating in a restricted fund environment with a particular familiarity of DFID requirements and ways of working. You'll enjoy the challenge of working across countries and continents as well as with a diverse range of consortia actors. With a keen eye for budgets and an awareness of current expectations in terms of M&E you'll also be aware of digital possibilities, both programmatically and within systems applications.
