An ambitious Local Authority, based on the outskirts of South West London, is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Officer to join their Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally respected organisation that is looking to recruit this key post on an initial 6 month interim basis, with the possibility of turning permanent at the end of the assignment.
This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organisation's overall supply chain, analysis to ensure correct pricing applied by their supplier & challenge where required. Also this role will assist in the selection, engagement, review and management of suppliers including suppliers' contracts whilst developing and maintaining good relationships with existing suppliers.
The successful candidate will be a CCAB qualified Supply Chain Officer, or someone who has experienced working in the public sector and managing a team to lead and oversee similar improvements to an organisation.
